5 simple steps
1. Make a list.
Write down 3–5 places you know. Your job. Your kid's school. Your church. A friend's shop or clinic.
2. Find the right person.
Who makes decisions there? Usually the owner, manager, office manager, principal, or HR person. Get their email.
3. Reach out.
Send our intro email from your own email, or use the short text. Ask if our team can set up a quick call or demo. If they'd rather sign up for the free trial on our website ([FREE TRIAL]), they must type your name in the "Referred by" box. Share our Flyer
4. Email us when you have a good contact whose interested.
Email both your contact and us at contact@epanicbutton.com. We take it from there.
Easy option: CC us on your intro email to the boss. It also works as proof that you made the refferal.
5. Follow up once.
After about a week, send one short note: "Did you get a chance to look?" If they say no, that's okay. Say thanks and try the next place.
IMPORTANT: Referral program is only active after signed Referral Partner Agreement. You can do this anytime but it is better to wait till you have a potential sale and that they actually do the trial. If they are trying it out, we will make sure that we have a signed agreement between the referral partner and ePanicButton LLC.

How to make sure that you are credited with the referral
This part matters most: tell us who you're referring
.- Email us when you have a good contact. Send the "I have a contact" email to contact@epanicbutton.com.- Easy option: CC us on your intro email to the boss. It tells us right away and is good proof
.- "Referred by" box. If the business signs up for a trial on our website, they must put your name in "Referred by."- The business decides. The business you referred has the final say on who referred them.
- Keep your email. If there's ever a question, show us your email to us about this referral (your "I have a
contact" email or a CC'd intro). We'll go with that.

- What is it?
It's a panic button on your computer or phone. One click sends an alert to the people you pick, by pop-up, phone alert, email, and text.
- What does it cost?
It starts at $102 per user, per year. One user means one person, on 1 Windows PC and 1 phone. Bigger groups pay less per user. There are no setup fees. You can try it free for 30 days with no credit card.
- Is it hard to set up?
No setup fee, and the ePanicButton team helps you set it up. You pick your buttons, messages, and who gets them from a website dashboard. For details, book a demo.
- Do we need new equipment?
No. It runs on the Windows PCs and phones you already have (phones use the app). It does not work on Mac computers. There are optional hardware buttons that work with it.
- Who else uses it?

We may need to get a W-9 for tax purposes.
A signed Agreement must be recorded for any Referral program participation. This can be filled out anytime but must be done for any commissions paid for the referred, subscribed accounts.
Earnings examples are not a promise. The signed agreement is what counts.

These are examples only, based on current published pricing tiers. They are not a promise or a guarantee of earnings. Actual commissions are 25% of subscription revenue actually collected, depend on each customer's number of users, price, and how long they remain active and paid, and may be adjusted for refunds or chargebacks. "Over 5 years" assumes the account renews at the same size and price each year.
What you earn: A permanent 25% commission* on the subscription revenue collected from every account you refer — for as long as that account stays active. Paid 30 days after their annual payment.

Our team handles the entire sales process, the contract, onboarding, and ongoing support. If you want to join a call with your contact, you're welcome to — but never required. We also give you approved marketing materials and a dedicated partner referral code.
FAQ Questions people ask before they join
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There's no fee to become a Referral Partner.
Do I have to sell anything?
No. You make introductions. ePanicButton handles demos, contracts, setup, training, and support.
How much do I earn?
25% of the subscription revenue ePanicButton actually collects from each customer you refer.
For how long?
For as long as the account stays active, paid, and in good standing. It's a permanent residual — it continues even after your partner agreement ends, as long as the agreement wasn't terminated for cause.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated monthly, based on revenue collected the prior month, and paid within 30 days after each month ends, in U.S. dollars, by paper check mailed to the address you gave at signup (tell contact@epanicbutton.com if it changes). The minimum payout is $25; smaller balances roll over to the next month. You'll get a monthly statement showing your referred accounts and earnings.
What counts as a "qualified referral"?
The organization must be new to ePanicButton (no prior contact), not already in conversations with us, and must become an active, paying subscriber — with a signed service agreement and at least one payment
.What if someone else refers the same company?
Once we confirm your referral in writing, your attribution is protected for 12 months. The account needs to become active within 12 months of your submission.
What if the customer gets a refund or a chargeback?
Commission on refunded or charged-back amounts may be withheld or reversed. We only give refunds before 30 days after payment and commissions go out 30 days after, making this unlikely.
If my referral introduces us to other companies, do I earn on those too?
Only if you submit them yourself as separate referrals. Commissions apply to the organizations you directly refer.
What can I say when I recommend ePanicButton?
Stick to what's in our public and approved marketing materials. Please don't describe it as a monitored emergency-response service, as insurance, or as a guarantee of safety — it's a fast, simple way for staff to alert the right people. And no spam: no mass emails, no texting or posting to strangers, no fake reviews. Just talk to people you know.
Do I need a business?
No. Individuals can join. You'll be an independent contractor, not an employee. U.S. partners email a completed W-9 to contact@epanicbutton.com and receive a 1099-NEC; partners outside the U.S. provide a W-8BEN or equivalent.
Can I quit?
Yes. Either side can end the agreement with 30 days' notice. If it ends normally, you keep earning on accounts that were already active.
Can I check my numbers?
Yes. You'll receive monthly statements when paid, and you can request a review of your commission records once a year.
What if ePanicButton is sold or merges?
In that case, commission obligations end unless the new owner agrees to continue them. We want you to know that up front. We have had this business for over 18 years. Its not going anywhere soon.
Can I transfer my commissions to someone else?
No, commissions aren't transferable. (If you join as a sole proprietor, commissions continue to you personally.)
