Mobile Users Instructions
The Mobile Phone record must be set up on ePanicButton Dashboard first.
you can also search your app store for
epanicbutton
and look for our logo
1) Install the mobile app on the phone (Android and iPhone only)
2) Allow for Notifications
3) Allow access to Location, at least while using the app
4) Enter the phone number
a) if server error, confirm the number is correct on the users table; enter it exactly as it on the profile
b) if warning about user already logged in, click Log Out (common during reinstall)
5) Click Submit and the app will be active.
There will be 3 tabs along the bottom of the app:
Send Alert,
Alert List and
Profile
Send Alert-
Shows the list of Messages that can be activated with Slide action. There is no send delay.
Alert List-
Shows the list of received alerts. This can be cleared with the Clear All button.
View Details-
Profile - the profile of the device. Can only edit on the portal.
Home Widget - Select a Message that can used as a "widget" on the phone screen with single click activation.
App info - app version shown
Log out - to log out; if you log back in with the same number, you may need to select "logout of all devices" at end of install.
