I found several software companies that all claimed their software was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but most of the companies were located in the UK.  If you need technical assistance, forget about it.  I ran across Johnny Lee's software so I contacted him.  We talked and I found out he is from Raleigh.  A company so close with an actual voice made a huge impression on me.  We talked and he explained everything and answered any questions.  I will say what Johnny Lee promises, he delivers.  Most every time I call him he answers the phone or he will call me back right away.  He also came to the agency and held a seminar on workplace violence and signs to look for.  I cannot say enough good things about him and his company.

The epanic button is currently in use at our school. We have chosen to beta test in with our administrative staff this year and anticipate a complete rollout of the product for the beginning of the next school year. Just knowing that help from the key people on staff is a click away makes me feel more secure.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Risk Management Division is using the E-Panic Button to supplement our Office Safety and Security program. E-Panic allows each of our employees to send out a discrete request for assistance to all other employees in the office through the use of the 'Hot Key" function. This allows an employee to summon help during a possible security threat, medical emergency, or other incident. While we are not currently using the SMTP or email functions, these functions add additional capability to notify employees across larger offices, filed personnel etc. We have been very happy with the ease of installation of the program and the ease of use for the end user.

The great thing e-panic provides for our situation is that the security team can be notified immediately should a violent situation arise at the front desk. This saves a step in an instance where timing can be crucial. What a source of comfort, knowing they can be summoned immediately! Additionally, because you have the options of configuring the icons to meet your company's needs, we have been able to designate icons to notify our entire staff via email regarding severe weather and tower evacuations. I would also like to take a moment to commend Johnny Lee's exceptional Customer Service. The product is great and easy to navigate, but I know Johnny is always available should any questions arise. What is more, you can tell that workplace safety and security is something that Johnny is passionate about, so you can trust that the product is something that will really improve the safety and security efforts of your company.
